Doctor Who meets Sherlock in William Ritter’s debut novel, which features a detective of the paranormal as seen through the eyes of his adventurous and intelligent assistant in a tale brimming with cheeky humor and a dose of the macabre.

R’s thoughts:

This book has quite a fascinating premise. I like the paranormal twist on the usual Sherlockian mystery here, and that his Watson is a young person. I’ll also be interested in seeing how Ritter incorporates the more fantastic elements into the story. Hopefully, he'll be able to keep it grounded. Really looking forward to this one!
